Mansoona and Chaukori

A village week, then a ridge week — two bases, one unhurried road between them.

  • 10 nights
  • March–June, September–November
  • Mud House, Mansoona Village → The Buransh, Chaukori

Start in Mansoona, where the village sets the pace and the days can stay small. After five or six nights, take the road across to Chaukori. The transfer is a day, not a dash — tea, a few bends, and a change of air.

Chaukori is higher and quieter. You arrive already slow. The second week does not need new plans; it needs the same kind of morning, with a longer view.

This order works because the village comes first. By the time you reach the ridge, you are no longer trying to see everything.
