Morning at Jispa

Light on the Bhaga, and the kind of quiet that takes a day to arrive.

A still valley with a river

Jispa does not announce itself. The road arrives first, then the river, then a stretch of ground that feels wider than the village sitting on it.

We stayed long enough for the morning to stop feeling like a schedule. Tea outside. A walk that did not need a viewpoint. The Bhaga moving as if it had always known this pace.

River light in a high valley

Some places are remembered for what you did. This one stayed for what we did not do.
