The Buransh, Chaukori

Chaukori is a pause. Tea gardens, a wide sky, and the Himalaya appearing when the weather allows it.

The stay is on the ridge, close enough to walk, far enough that the road noise falls away. You do not need to fill the days. That is mostly what people remember.

A week here works. Two weeks can work if you like repetition — the same walk, a book, another cup of tea. A full month is usually too much of the same hill. That is why there is no extended stay.
