Mud House, Mansoona Village

The house sits in the village, not above it. Stone, mud plaster, and a courtyard that holds the afternoon. From the rooms you see terraces, then the next ridge, then whatever the weather decides to show.

Days here do not ask for a plan. A walk to the shop. Tea on the steps. If you have more nights, the same path feels different the third time.

This is a village stay, shared with the family who live here. It is quiet without being remote, and close enough to the Kedarnath road that a temple day is possible — if you want one.
